We are committed
to becoming carbon neutral by 2030 and are already significantly reducing energy, light, and water consumption in our production processes.
Our energy needs are significantly supplemented by sustainable photovoltaic energy, with plans for a solar park to achieve 100% self-sufficiency.

Did you know?
Gratnells proudly backs Sears think[box], a seven-story makerspace in Case Western Reserve University, where students, educators, and community innovators come together to prototype, problem-solve, and push boundaries.
At the heart of this space is the Ideation Cart – a CNC-milled, open-source cabinet directly inspired by Gratnells best-selling Callero range, a system shaped by decades of listening to educators and designing learning better. Gratnells has backed this initiative through donation, endorsement, and shared purpose, because we believe design should be intuitive, inclusive, and ready to support creativity wherever it sparks.

Through our Research & Development Headquarters in Cambridge, a globally recognized hub for innovation and educational expertise, we are enhancing learning environments worldwide, developing new product concepts, and supporting the implementation of a 21st-century curriculum.
Our Planning Learning Spaces in Practice (PLSIP) team collaborates with schools from the UK to the US to New Zealand, creating inspiring new spaces that enhance engagement and academic progress throughout the school.
