Gratnells was very happy to donate trays to Girl Scout Troop 3877 from Suffolk County, NY for a nursing home community planting project in Port Jefferson.
“Earlier in the year, I received two packages of six Gratnells Trays from Gratnells for my Girl Scout Gold Award project. With your donation, I was able to build two wheelchair-accessible planters for the elderly residents of Woodhaven Nursing Home in Port Jefferson, New York. I cannot thank you enough for your donations, and I truly appreciate your support!
Many of our nursing homes in Long Island, New York have been hit hard by the Coronavirus. The planters have given residents using wheelchairs an opportunity to do something creative and positive, while also taking their minds off all the negative news. Without your assistance, I would not have been able to complete my project. Thank you so much for your contribution and for choosing to beneficially impact the residents at Woodhaven Nursing Home.”
